Tattoo choker
Jewellery
Back to the nineties
A flexible, braided strap that wraps tightly around the neck, giving it a tattoo-like appearance. The well-known tattoo choker was a huge hit in the 1990s. Pretty much every teenage girl had one, made of braided plastic. The cheap, elastic necklaces – usually made from black fishing line – have recently resurfaced in fashion. Of course this includes a top with spaghetti straps, from head to toe in the style of the nineties, or cool dungarees. To give the choker a personal touch, beads, stones or charms are sometimes strung through. Often the tattoo choker is also combined with longer necklaces.
