Midi skirt

Skirts

Between mini and maxi
Midi skirts are characterized by their length, which ranges from just below the knee to mid-calf. The skirt is therefore roughly in between a mini and a maxi skirt. This elegant skirt length was very popular in the 1940s and 1950s. In the early 1960s, the midi went out of fashion with the rise of the progressive miniskirt. But in recent years there has been a real fashion revival and the feminine midi skirt is back. Some fashion magazines have even labeled this trend as 'the new hemline'. A midi skirt looks good with flat sandals, heels or – as many women now combine it – with cool sneakers underneath. Goodbye granny image, hello new fashion favorite!
